Euromedic Ireland Receives JCI Accreditation

Euromedic Ireland, the leading provider of accessible and affordable quality diagnostic scans has been accredited with the internationally recognised Standard in Ambulatory Care by the Joint Commission International (JCI). The standard was awarded to Euromedic Charlemont, Dundrum, Northwood and Cork in recognition of their commitment to excellence in patient care and qualitity in diagnostic imaging.
The JCI is an international body that regulates quality in ambulatory care throughout hospitals worldwide. The accreditation was awarded to Euromedic Ireland following an extensive survey of its procedures and policies at its world-class diagnostic centres.
Commenting on the accreditation, Ann Jacobson, Executive Director in International Accreditation at the JCI said: “The Joint Commission International Accreditation Ambulatory Care standards are intended to stimulate continuous, systematic and organization-wide improvement in daily performance and in the outcomes of patient care. We are delighted to award Euromedic Ireland with this accreditation in recognition of its commitment to provide quality care at its clinics. We will continue to monitor Euromedic Ireland for compliance with all of the JCI Ambulatory Care standards on an ongoing basis throughout the three year accreditation cycle."

Euromedic Dundrum Offers Special CT Price for Patients

Euromedic Dundrum would like to advise its patients and referers that CT scans at Euromedic Dundrum are currently covered for direct settlement by Quinn Healthcare, Aviva Health, ESB and Garda Medical.
Euromedic Dundrum does not currently have direct settlement cover for CT scans for VHI members. However we are offering our VHI members who wish to pay directly, a special price on standard CT cans of €175. This is approximately half the cost of CT scans in other locations. This price is available for VHI members on a non-reimbursement basis effective from 2nd July 2010 until further notice.
Euromedic Dundrum has put this offer in place to facilitate continuity of care for patients with VHI membership who need affordable scans quickly.
The CT price on offer covers standard CT scans, with or without contrast. Prices for more complex CT scans may vary.

HORSE Sport Ireland today (Monday) announced Euromedic Ireland, the leading diagnostic services provider, as Official Supplier of diagnostic scans to Team Ireland Equestrian.
Under the agreement, Euromedic Ireland will offer diagnostic services to Horse Sport Ireland's High Performance riders and all HSI licensed riders in Euromedic Ireland centres in Dublin, Cork and Sligo.

Euromedic Ireland, the diagnostic healthcare provider, based in Dublin, Cork and Sligo, has launched a new secure website where GPs can access their patients’ radiology reports and images online. The Secure Online GP Portal will enable GPs to access their patient reports/images online from consultant radiologists at Euromedic Northwood, Euromedic Dundrum, Euromedic Charlemont and Euromedic Cork within 48 hours of the scan taking place.
Euromedic €5m Diagnostic Facility Opens in Cork

Euromedic Ireland officially launched its new multi-modality diagnostic facility, Euromedic Cork in the Elysian building. The new facility will make diagnostic healthcare more accessible in the Munster region, offering fast turnaround to diagnostic services, including MRI, X-Ray and Ultrasound, at a competitive price. It is expected to treat approximately 20,000 people in 2010.

Euromedic Ireland today made preventative health screening more accessible in Ireland with the roll out of its fast and cost effective health screening service, HealthWatch to Euromedic Northwood. HealthWatch is part of Euromedic Ireland’s preventative health programme, which is already operating in Euromedic Dundrum and will be rolled out to its other centres in the coming year.
